The Sulu Bleeding-heart (Scientific name: Gallicolumba menagei) is one of the birds of the Philippines that is officially listed as critically endangered. It is common to Tawi-Tawi and the islands of Sulu. This species belongs to the pigeon and dove family, and is known from two male specimens of it taken in 1891. Due to the massive destruction of its forest habitat and hunting practices, its population dramatically declined.

Where: Greenfield District Park, Mayflower St. Mandaluyong City When: December 7, 2014, 8am-7pm A shiny coat in dogs is also an indication of good health and proper diet, so in essence making your dog’s coat shiny is as simple as keeping him healthy! Here are simple ways to give your pup the shine he deserves.
“The Michelin dog!” is the first thing that comes to mind whenever one sees a Shar Pei pup. With its trademark wrinkles, the Shar Pei (or, more formally, the Chinese Shar Pei) is one of the most charming and endearing dogs in the world today. Its name translates to “sand coat” or “sand skin” because of its short and rough coat. The wrinkles on their coats begin to loosen and “stretch” as the puppies grow.
